My feet and legs turn purple and sometimes blue,I was told it is Raynauds Phenomena,ie,from the lupus.I tend to disagree to an extent,as they don't do the white color. In Raynauds,it happens when exposed to cold or hot,as in my case, the color changes occur while standing,or sitting, when legs are elevated or moving, the color is normal and pains are not as bad.I can sympathize with the numbness,as mine feel that way all the time,it is pins and needles all day.'Also the biggest discomfort is the weakness that is associated to it and a pulsating feeling that is unbearable at times, especially after sitting for even a half an hour,so that I why my doctor suggested always keeping my legs moving for circulation. Thanks again for all your help! You don't know what a difference you have made to me,as you seem to be able to relate so well.
