My doctor recently put me on Glucopage 500mg once a day. I was just wondering if anyone has any success stories. I have read that Glucophage helps regulate periods and helps you lose weight and also helps decrease the hair growth. My main concern right now and has been the hair growth. I use to take Aldactone a couple of years ago and stopped taking it. The hair did start coming in a little finer after 3-4 months of usage but I discontinued it because I did not have any insurance at the time. I asked my doctor which is better to be on Aldacton or Metaformin... He suggested Metaformin. I am just wondering if Metaformin will help the hair come in finer or block new hair from coming in so this way if I do consider getting laser in the future...I don't have any problems with the hair coming back. So I guess my question is Does Metaformin helps lower the hormone level? My hormone level seems to be on the high side. Thank you in advance Minni
