I have lost over 80lbs, my excess body/facial hair has almost stopped completely, I have a few stubborn hairs under my chin, but I can certainly live with that. I have my levels checked every 4-6 months and so far so good. My DHEAS and testosterone are all normal. I have been very happy with the results of the prednisone and glucophage. I've never had a side effect from the prednisone. I think it just depends on the individual as to how you will respond to any medication. And the dosage of course. Those that are on higher doses will see more side effects. I've been on 5mg. since I began.
