Re: Yasmin Questions

Genny, thank you for answering a few of my questions... I've taken it now for a week, and so far, so good! It just seems that my period isn't stopping.... but it's not heavy, like you need to wear anything for it, just see it on the tissue. Is that to be expected??? This is my first time ever on a bcp so I have NO IDEA what to expect at all from one!

And, if a side effect of it for me is WEIGHT LOSS, well then I say "Glory to God" because I could use to shed a few pounds, that's for sure!!!

I have been having SEVERE mood swings - while taking nothing other than met. To the point that i couldn't even stand to be around myself. I mean, people would just be talking to me, or asking me to do something and i'd be bristling like a porcupine and just about biting their head off to get them out of my office cube. And, the months that i'm not like that, well i seem to get a slight/moderate depression. Neither of those are me! I am the "bright sunshine, bubbly, bouncey, happy-go-lucky, eternal optimist" of the office... now you may be able to picture my horror at becoming "ms. hyde" for a week or so. Will Yasmin help to level this out?

Thanks for your info and help.
