Re: Yasmin Questions

Hi-

I have been on Yasmin since August. I was on Alesse before but had a lot of problems with breakthrough bleeding and acne. The acne is much better on the Yasmin and no breakthrough bleeding. I have also not gained any weight. My doctor says that most of her patients on Yasmin actually lost weight.

My hair growth seems to have slowed down too. However, I haven't noticed any increased scalp hair growth. I am now taking Saw Palmetto and using Rogaine, which seems to be helping.

Overall, I am much happier on the Yasmin. I think the Alesse was causing mood swings, which I haven't noticed with the Yasmin. Hard to tell now, since I was dealing with nasty people and situations while on Alesse ;)

Hope this helps. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions at all.
