I am turning 46 in a couple of weeks. I had a Pap done in Sept/01 which was apparently normal as I did not hear otherwise from my Dr. In November I had a lighter than normal period. About 16 days later I began spotting which turned into another period (I think). It stopped with only a bit of spotting for about 13 days whan I got a heavier than normal period which is now ending. It has turned into a watery pinkish sometimes clear discharge which is heavier than any normal discharge I have had. My breasts have been tender almost continually for this month and a half period of time. I have no family history of cancer. Could this be a hormone thing or perimenopause?
