Well, my RE prescribed Yasmin a month or so ago, and I finally began taking it just a few days ago. What has been anyone's experience with it? My cousin is taking it, as she has PCOS too (ironically, I'm the one who told her what the problem was! Not the doctor she had seen, and who removed several large cysts from her overies as a teenager!) She's not liking it very well, as she mentioned that her breasts are really sore and she's been extremely nauseaus. Not something that I want.... I am a little concerned about the possible weight gain/blood pressure/insulin consequenses that can happen. Although the RE said that those side effects are possible with ANY bcp. Has anyone been on it for an extended period already, and had success in reduced hair growth? That's my main desire, as I am having regular periods (since starting the glucophage). Any info that you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
