Dr. in Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle Washington areaFrom: Mirabella (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 17 Dec 2001 23:56:38 -0600 (CST)
I just moved here from Massachusetts. I need a Dr. who will monitor my health. I am 42 and have had PCOS for years. I was diagnosed 2 years ago. I am no longer wanting to have children but would like to get my hormones under some sort of control. I was on Met after being diagnosed and my periods became regular after 2o years of almost nothing. They are still regular even though I have been off the met a year.I am noticing new health problems that I am convinced are due to the PCOS. Nueropathy in my feet and hands and my inability to heal. I had a very minor operation in july and am still battling with infection. They thought I had diabetis but my sugar is normal. I need to get motivated again to start caring for myself. I have been in denial the last few months and need some motivation. getting started with a Dr. again should point me in the right direction. warmly, Mirabella
