hello, I know this is not an infertility group but i know lots of us with pcos are trying to concieve. I took clomid 50mg on days 5-9 for the last two months and did not ovulate. This month my dr. gave me 100mg, but the nurse said he wrote to take on days 17-21 and that my fertile days would be around 12/28- 1/2 and I will get a blood test on 1/5 to see if i ovulated. I have never heard of taking clomid this late in cycle (mine is usually 28 days)-- i am wondering if he meant 12/17-12/21, because he told me you usually ovulate anywhere from three-ten days after last pill. 12/17 would be day 6 of cycle, but Day 17 of my cycle is not until 12/28 !! (you do the math?). I am of course going to call on mon and ask to speak to him directly, but i was wondering if anyone has heard of taking it so late??????PLEASE REPLY... kim
