I was put on metformin and it did absolutly nothing for me. It made me feel worse and did nothing to help my periods. I have had much more sucess in treating my PCOS with exercise and using Dianette to make my life easier to regulate my periods.

My doctor though a big advocate of metformin has decided that it would be a totally unsuitable treatment for me. (I am not IR)
