Hi Annie!

I typed in some sites below that may help you. They have general PCOS info as well as some insulin resistance info.

You can determine whether or not you are insulin resistant by being tested by your doctor. Use caution. I was tested many times by regular doctors who were not really familiar with PCOS and was told that my results came back "normal." I was then tested by a reproductive endocrinologist who said that she used a much lower scale to interpret my results and said that I could definately benefit from a medication such as Metformin.
