I think it's WONDERFUL that your husband is so sensitive to your feelings! I keep asking my husband if he'll still love me when I'm bald and wearing wigs. He says yes now, but lets see if he changes his mind when he starts waking up next to Kojak!! ; ) (spelling?) I went to school for cosmo, too and my partner used to HATE having to do a "perm" or comb out on me because I had sooo much hair. I used to have my hair thinned, too, so that I could get a little lift in the crown area. If only we had known..... I have to tell you that I've been using Rogaine for the past two weeks with no more hair loss than "normal". The only thing it does is leave my skin itchy and dry, which I can deal with if my hair is going to come back. I hate the fact that once you stop using Rogaine you start to lose your hair again, and as much as it costs a box it's not something I want to be on for the rest of my life. (I get it whole sale at a professional shop, but it's still expensive) Please e-mail me personally if you want to chat since we have so much in common. : ) It's nice to talk to someone who knows EXACTLY what you're going through. Friends and family are great, but once in a while they look at you like a three-eyed monster when you try to confide. All the best---- Christie

Hilarious! Intrude all you want! I just got done posting a message about
how sad I am about this hair loss thing. It is devastating to me! It is
very encouraging to hear that spiro is helping for someone and at a
lower dosage. I see my sister and her lovely locks and I think - gosh,
my hair used to look like THAT!!! To think I used to have my cosmo THIN
my hair with a thinning shears because it was so thick! I'm a cosmo too
and I've been known to thin my hair myself from time to time! I wish I
could glue it all back on! It's really hard. I've been SOOO down about
it for the last month. My hubby surprised me with ROSES though this
morning! Unprompted, mind you! He knows I've been so sad! It did help my
mood and I hope he will like the lovely Rapunzel wigs I'll be buying if
this hair loss thing continues at this pace! LOL Thanks! I am with you
