I agree with Sonnet. While Barbara has a point in which we should check out any and all medications prior to use, anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications have a use.

Before I was diagnosed with PCOS, I was severely depressed. My husband was in college full-time, so I was the main support for our family. Zoloft not only got me out of bed in the morning and to my job, it stopped the suicidal thinking. Now that I know what is wrong, I am no longer in need of Zoloft. However, I thank God it was there when I needed it.
