Re: Glucophage XR and no periods?

I started taking only 500mg of Glucophage XR over 1 month ago and this
is making my periods more irregular. Unlike many other women with this
condition, I was getting a period every 25 to 26 days. I'm now at 36
days and only just started spotting, like I usually do before my
periods. I've suffered with Hypoglycemia since 18 yrs old and got acne
in my mid twenties and just found out I have poly cystic ovaries.
Eventually, I had to go on Accutane to rid the stubborn acne a few years
ago. Then it started to come back and the OBCPs knocked it out
miraclously. My periods have always been long approx. 2 weeks even on
OBCPs, we never knew why til now(I'm 32 yrs old now). I've passed a lot
of sugar in my urine in my past so we've know long before that I had
trouble with managing my sugar. Thankfully, never been overweight. Has
anyone experienced this? I'm suppose to be on 1000 mg per day, but I'm
chickening out due to the nausea that I get sometimes with 2 pills per
day.
