>How many of you out there have Ovulated on clomid and on what dosages? >How long did it take?< Hi Dona-- I'm sorry Clomid hasn't worked for you at the dose you took, but do be aware that 50 mg is the lowest possible dose and the one that they start out non-ovulatory women on who DON'T have PCOS. So take heart--there is more to try. I ovulated on Clomid 100 mg, and although not expecting to (and being told by my RE that it would probably take anywhere from 3-6 doses of the stuff), conceived on the first round. I think that's amazing, b/c my periods were far from regular at the time. Anyhow, it sounds like you have a responsive and responsible RE caring for you--don't let the negatives of your situation rule your head and block out the hope that is inherent in fertility treatments. I know it's hard, but do keep your chin up. And BTW--I had no side effects from the Clomid. I know several women who have had them, but I'm living proof that it doesn't HAVE to be so. : ) Good luck and keep us posted, eh?
