Actually, at this time the only treatment my doctor has me on is the Provera. Just a couple of weeks ago, I went to see him so that he could see what 3 months of taking it did for me, and he didn't seem to think he needed to see me again until my annual exam next summer. His primary concern seems to be for regulating my periods. As far as a diet, about the only thing that I have found to be even moderately successful was a HIGH-carb, low-fat diet. But with my artificially small stomach, I just can't eat as much food as that requires.
