Re: thanks kimberly & sonnetFrom: Lisa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 19 Nov 2001 22:27:51 -0600 (CST)
Hi Liz, The side effects that i had from met were, severe diarrhea, headaches, and felt nausiated. Avandia does none of the above to my system. >From what the pharmacist told me, they don't cover Avandia yet, because it is still very new. I've heard you can get certain perscriptions "stamped" and then you can at least claim them at the end of the year. I was informed that i had not tried all the other drugs with out being able to tolerate them,so there fore i couldn't be stamped. And they are really a diabetic drug.. not a pcos drug. go figure eh. It' may be covered under your blue cross. I don't have any, as my husband owns his own bussiness.(small company) Have you tried Met? I have been watching my carb intake, and exercising, and i lot's a whole 5lbs in the last 6 weeks... It seems to take sooooo long to take off this weight. Where in Canada do you live? I'm from Winnipeg.
