Re: A new drug other than Glucophage?

I can speak to the Avandia as i've been on it for 8 months now. I'm actually going off of it next week and back to take another try at Glucophage. I've had edema bad in the ankles and lower legs. There hasn't been any sign of ovulation although i've had migraine/nausea (so sick can't keep water down) for 24 hours every 28-29 days like clockwork. I've also gained about 25 pounds in the 8 months likely due to the medication. I wouldn't be opposed to trying it as there has been some success with the people that have tried it.

Based on my experience with antidepressants - the one that works for me is the one no one else seems to like and the one that most people like made me feel like death all the time - I'd say we all react differently and it might be worth a try.
