Hi! I'm 19 years old, and I am from London, UK. I have just started University. I discovered that I had PCOS in the summer, and have been taking DIANETTE contraceptive pill for 3 months. I feel that I have changed (as a person) a great deal since having PCOS. I have become shy, especially in front of boys, I lack confidence, and I dread meeting people, even family and friends mainly because of my facial hair. This is heartbreaking for me, as I used to be such a bubbly person, and I want things to go back to how they were. Can anyone advice me about hair removal? For example, laser treatment or electrolysis. Is it best to give my tablets a chance to work? Or have hair removal treatment alongside the medication? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, xx
