Blood Work question

From: Wendy (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I am seeing a reproductive endocrine doctor, and she is pleased with my cycles. She told me that she want to see me once a year after the next visit in January. I've been seeing her every 3 months but mostly because I also have underactive thyroid.

My concern is that she haven't ask for blood work to see how my hormones are doing, like FSH/LH ratio, testosterone, insulin or liver/kidney function. What test should I ask for? Is it necessary to ask for them, and how often?

Currently I am taking Metforming 1500mg , I've been taking it for a year now. Also I am taking synthroid 50mcg for underactive thyroid for 4months. Any info/comments are appreciated.
