Hi all, I had my first laser treatment for hair removal on Nov. 1. It went very well. My skin reacted very well, no adverse reaction. Plus I can now go 1 day without shaving my neck. My next treatment will be Nov. 21st. I wanted to comment that PCOS isn't due to being overweight. I started having the other symptoms such as hirsutism and irregular cycles long before I got fat. In fact I had to shave my neck even while anorexic. I have an appointment with my endo. on Tuesday. I want to convince here to give me a 3hour IGTT test and to Rx an insulin sensitizer. I was just diagnosed with PCOS a month ago and at that time based on fasting tests she said I wasn't insulin resistant and so the only thing she would do is prescribe bcp's. But, because we'd like to have another kid I'd have to wait to treat PCOS till we are done trying. I'm so nervous about my appt. on Tuesday. I've printed a lot of stuff up to take with me but I worry she won't take it well. I haven't gone to doctors very much in the past and so don't feel sure how to deal with doctors. If any one has suggestions or advice I could really use it. I've been so depressed and anxious about this. -Ann
