Hi,
If you are having severe loss of appetite, you should try to get checked
out by Dr. Have you been checked for Hypothyroid? I have heard that can
cause loss of appetite. Also gall bladder.... maybe.... though I
could be wrong there? There could be causes other than PCOS for that.
Seems like you are extremely sensitive to all meds. That is really
tough... as they can help a lot in this battle. Perhaps your Doc can
help you experiment carefully with other drug options. I have a friend
who is very sensitive to all drugs, including vitamin tabs..... she
found out the hard way... by getting very sick.... as for you.
Please force yourself to eat and drink small amounts reguarly - for your
health. Have you tried meal replacment drinks - the stuff they use for
people under hospital rehab. Don't know much about them - just a
thought.
Have you tried low carbohydrate approach. I was continually nauseous
for most of the beginning of this year and not feel like eating (though
didn't lose any weight). Low carb seems to help that a lot .... and
now that is much better than before - though nausea comes back if I am
tired, nervous, upset, eat the wrong things. If you really can't take
the drugs, guess you would need to focus more on the lifestyle approach
(though we all should be doing that anyway).
Very best wishes
