She has not lost any weight and is about 100lbs overweight. Since being on the meds her insulin levels have resumed to normal levels but her weight has not gone down. Her periods have resumed and she is ovulating as well. I too am on glucophage, for over 3 years now and I have lost over 70lbs. Neither one of us suffered from the glucophage side effects either, we both took Immodium for the first month and didn't have problems.
