Re: maybe Dr. Sam can help - On Glucophage and weight lossFrom: Kate (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 6 Nov 2001 16:47:28 -0600 (CST)
>> >>Explain to me how someone gained weight in the first place if they were in >>fact eating healthy and excercising regularily? >> Muriel: I just have to say that it's too bad you have this attitude. You sound like the multitude of doctors I have seen over the years who simply didn't believe me when I told them I was gaining weight despite aggresive diet and exercise. The only way I could convince them was to flex my giant muscles, which could only be created with exercise. I didn't have the weight gain associated with PCOS until I turned 25. I hope you don't find yourself in the same situation as your body ages a bit and the syndrome worsens. It's really a cruel syndrome, to lose complete control over your size. Katie
