Thanks for the encouragement, Kimberly. I am very motivated. Something
snapped in me when I found out two weeks aggo how high my triglycerides
are(533) and that I am on the border of Type 2 diabetes. I decided that
I couldn't make any more excuses and had to try everything I can to
change this cycle. I knew that PCOS could lead to these problems, but
my last gyno knew nothing about glucophage and wouldn't prescribe it. So
I waited 5 years until finding one would would.
I don't expect to keep losing weight at such a rapid pace. I just
wanted some reassurance that it wasn't a stomach-related thing and the
13 pounds would come piling back on once I got used to the medication!
Eeeek. After years of gaining weight on low-fat, hi-carb diets, I'm
pretty skeptical whenever I manage to lose a pound or two. Keep your
fingers crossed for me!
Thanks again.
