Sue and Dona,

Science is Logic. You have to understand this.

Explain to me how someone gained weight in the first place if they were in fact eating healthy and excercising regularily?

Many women here claim that the problem lies with Insulin Resistance. I accept that, of course, being insulin resistant myself.

Now think about it. If insulin resistance is the CAUSE of your weight gain, and Glucophage is the SOLUTION to insulin resistance, then why would you not lose the weight? It makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever, and that is why I am posting about this.

About offending people, consider that if you take offense to my questions or my inferences, that the problem is yours, not mine. You can delete my posts if you find me offensive. As of now, I want to become healthy, and I want questions answered, such as you and everyone else here does. If I get the answers that make sense to me, then there mere fact that a small minority of women were "offended" is worth it to me to have those answers.

Muriel
