My doctor said this was do to my very low progesterone levels and that it can take up to 14 days to start a period after finishing progesterone (provera) depending on your hormone levels. If you have extremely low estrogen you may not start a period at all even with the provera and will need to add estrogen to the regimine.So don;t worry...it will just take a few days to start and it will be a "real" period or heavy flow.
