Hi Tina, If you have been diagnosed "Borderline Diabtes"then you are probably insulin resistant.You can have your Doc do a 3 hour IGTT test to see if you are in fact IR. Then you can try using Glucophage XR instead of regular glucophage.It dosen't have the side affects like the regular stuff does.Also you can help keep heart disease and diabetes at bay if you are able to keep your weight down and controll it with diet.It is always good to get repeat tests done if it has been a few years just so you know were you stand with your PCOS.Dona
