1700mg is still a relatively low dose. You might have some extra symptoms for the first few weeks as your body adjusts, but it shouldn't cause you any more problems than 1000mg did. I know several women on the boards are taking 2000 - 2550mg, and my dose dose just went up to 3000mg. So far so good! I am hoping this is a dose that helps.
