Hi Kim! I know, the whole PCOS thing is so overwhelming at first, but I promise it gets easier! Your doctor sounds like he's at least starting on the right track with your diagnosis. Everything you've mentioned seems to fit with classic PCOS, although heaven knows every woman's experience with this is different! You don't have to be obese to have PCOS; in fact I think I remember hearing that only about 50% of us are. One thing I would at least ask about is why your doctor hasn't started treating you with an insulin sensitizer before starting the Clomid. It does so much for your health, reduces the other symptoms, and often restores ovulation without having to use Clomid. And if you end up using the two together, the ovulation rates for PCOS women on both medications are sky high. There's lots of information at http://www.pcosupport.org - it is worth your time to take a look I think! Also, you might want to post this to the PCOS forum here at OBGYN.net. Up at the top of your screen it should say something like "Visit our Other Forums" and you can find it there; or manually go to http://forums.obgyn.net/pcos. Most women I think go through all 3 PCOS lists but that one is much higher volume and you'll get more answers. Anyway, hope this helps. Feel free to email if I can do anything for you!
