I am following a PCOS diet given to me by the dietician that works for him. He put me on 500 mgs. 3 times a day to start..but I gradually worked up to that after two weeks of starting the medicine. He said if I haven't even lost one pound or my clothes don't feel different he would change my medication to 850 mgs. 3 times a day. This doctor is a specialist who treats women with this disorder. I know muscle weighs more than fat..etc.etc. I have been an avid exerciser since high school, weight training, cardio the whole bit. This is the first time ever that I haven't been able to lose weight. I'll be happy just dropping a couple pants sizes. His exact words were, you will lose weight..so i have to believe that will happen..I also realize I have only been on this medicine 4 weeks. So I have to give it time. thanks again,
