Hi, from a fellow Jen -

You should search the arcives for this forum, and for the main PCOS forum, because I'm pretty sure there are several of us from the UK who have managed to get metformin. Here's one I found:

There are definitely studies supporting the use of metformin in non-obese women. Check with Dr. Glueck's web site or the PCOSupport web site:
