I have been seizure-free for 4 years (I had a one-time grand mal seizure in 1997, docs couldn't find a reason) and have been taking 360 mg Dilantin since then, mostly out of fear of having another one. I have been TTC for over a year, and my husband and myself have gone through a variety of tests. He is fine, but the doctor suspects PCOS for me. He suggested the next step will be Clomid. My question is, if I find I can't get off the Dilantin, what are the risks of mixing these two medications? Also, is there any research out there regarding Dilantin and infertility? Thank you.
