I have been on Met for 2 weeks. After 7 days I got my first period in about a year!! I had major stomach side effects for about 8 days and then they suddenly disappeared. I've lost 2 lbs. and feel bery, very good. I am very fortunate to have Dr. Thatcher as my doctor. I keep reading over and over posts from women who don't trust their doctors or can't seem to get any help from their doctors. Please get another doctor as soon as you possibly can.
