...perplexedFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Oct 2001 15:55:55 -0500 (CDT)
My periods have always been very irregular/ usually nill until about two years ago. Once I learn of my PCOS and began reducing my carb intake and began exercising (even joined a gym about 6 months ago) My highest weight was 350 and now I'm about 250. (Those hundred pounds took about 4 years of work and a lot up and downing.) However last year I probably had six periods. Some of, what I consider, pretty normal which was absolutly not the norm for me. In the past, maybe 3 a year and very short with no pattern. Since January, I have had a period every month at the same time, for the same duration. I'm 28. On one hand it makes me feel very normal, on the other I'm questioning why now. My other PCOS systoms remain the same. Anybody have a similar situation or answers?
