Hello since i was diagnosed with pcos 8 months ago i have lost 90 lbs My Dr. is an older female DR who is wonderful after many months of trying to loose wt she was the one who discovered it .I had all the symptoms of pcos with out the cysts on the ovaries .I had the hair, the BP problem, the velvety skin, the constant wt gain, and the constant depression ,the skin tags and many other symptoms . When i began treatment i was not eating at all actually i was afraid to eat. when i did eat i felt like i shouldnt.I have had one child but than again i was a teen. I am now in my 30's. How may of you when you did manage to get pregnant had rough pregnancy's such as toxemia and high blood pressure and went diabetic. My daughter I worry for her she is 13 very small but already having abnormal cycles they have already recommended bcpills I said no aren't first year cycles crazy anyways? What have DR's proscribed for the unmanageable hair growth right now i am on spirnolactone for the hair as well as the blood pressure levels and Metformin how many of you fight asthma as well and do steroids help of worsen the symptoms of pcos . thank you for responding melisa
