HDL - any way to increase it

Hi Everyone,

Lipid abnormalities are part of this PCOS thing. I have a HDL of around 24 when it should be > 40, though my overall cholesterol is within 'normal' range. I read that low HDL is associated with much higher risk of heart disease. Is there any way to increase HDL levels without increasing overall cholesterol? I am worried about the long-term health implications.

Thanks to anyone who could comment.
