Hi Becca,

Why does s/he call him a ewpeoductive endocrinologist, if s/he needs the advice of an Ob/Gyn to prescribe metformin for your PCOS. It is a decision that a simple endocrinologist (no RE) should do. Metformin should be given a chance even before Clomid is started. What about your infertility work-up (hormones, tubes, hzsband)? No Clomid before these have been completed.
