Back in the early 1900's they used to institutionalized women because they were deemed crazy or insane because they had pcos. I was told I had pcos when I was 22. That was almost 15 yrs ago. I just had no idea what pcos was. My gyn just told me to go on a diet and it would go away. Then when I lost 50 pounds he would put me on the pill to regulate me.
