Re: Painful Periods-Whats the point in a period?-To:Sam!From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Oct 2001 07:14:22 -0500 (CDT)
Sam, Well true he has never done any ultrasounds or anything. I have tried for years. I have a normal period, normal as can be, I guess. My OB/GYN and my RE have both said this. I also had a another OB/GYN tell me this years ago and he never said why. He just looked at me and said "you don't have any eggs and don't ovulate" What type of test tells you that you do ovulate, if any? I have done the ovulation test kits when you urinate on the stick and the basel body method and nothing ever changes. So I guess thats how they assessed it. My RE ran lots of blood work on me. I don't know how to spell it all but here it goes, free testosterone, Estrogene levels, PH levels, just lots of female tests, so many to remember. He said everything is fairly normal, but my testosterone is kindy high. So thats all I know
