I just wanted to say that i myself have been suffering with pcos for years and i have been married for almost 10 years and have went through 3 miscarriages. I am 27 years old. I had removed my cysts and endometriosis about 2 years ago and not even a week after my surgery i became pregnant but had lost the baby due to my body was'nt healed from the surgery. Till this day i have not became pregnant again. But i thought you would be happy to know that i have been doing some reading up on a drug called Metformin which is a medication used for diabetes. Now what you should know is that with pcos your insulin levels are higher and which causes you to be overweight, excess hair, infertile and so on. Well this drug metformin has also been discovered to treat pcos in such a way that:

It reverses the endocrinopathy of pcos, allowing normal menses, fertility, conception, and a better delivery. It also as part of the drug process it facilitates ajor weight loss, reduction of excess body hair, reduces the otherwise high long term risk of heart attack and stroke in pcos by lowering insulin, lowering free testosterone, lowering blood pressure, lowering triglycerides, as well as cholesterol.

>From what i have heard this is fairly new to the doctors but i very much
intend on printing the page out that i read and giving a copy to my doctor to read and i will demand to be put on this drug for all the benifits of hopefully being able to start a family soon.

To learn more of this drug under yahoo search put in metformin and look under the cholesterol site and you will see pcos in there a full long page of it..

God bless and i hope you to will be able to start your family...let me know how it goes.
