Anyone had Glucophage XR results? Hi, My wife was on 2550 of Glucophage for 1 year and it had been working (Insulin was down to 14), however the effects of it were too much for her. Three weeks ago Dr. Glueck took her off straight metformin to 2000 mgs. of Glucophage XR. She seems to be handling it better, but would like to know if anyone's had the same results with it as with Glucophage? As a note, we will not be having any more children (I've had a vascetomy), her goal is get back to her figure before PCOS, apprx. 175 lbs to go. Thanks for any answers and responses.
