I really think it depends on your body. 500 mg brought me down to normal for
my insulin. If I took 1500 mg, I'd have no circulating insulin, which is also
a problem.
I recommend checking the blood levels to see what effect 500 has, then
increasing it if your levels are still high. I'm one to always start low, and
re-assess the need for higher doses.
