26 yo with PCO wanting to get pregnant.From: Melissa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Sep 2001 11:02:27 -0500 (CDT)
I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and PCO not even a year ago. I went to OB/GYN hoping to get answers for why I had not conceived ever. He sent me to an Endocrinologist and he diagnosed me. I have an odd PCO; I have normal periods, every month, never fail. But they are sometimes a little off but they still come. I do have facial hairs, weight in the middle section, infertility. I have never been on BC pills. I have been on Glucophage for 6 months. I have been on Spirolactone for 9 months and really don't see any difference. But my question is "Is it possible to get pregnant with PCO and if so what are some of the options?? What do you have to take or do?? What is Metaform?? My Dr. doesn’t help me much, he never listens to anything I have to say and he talks so fast I can’t understand him.” Thank you
