Hi and thanks for your reply! My ultrasound was abdomonal(sp?)They said that my lining wasnt abnormally thick and he mentioned that it looked like I had developing follicles. It was a few months ago so I cant quite remember exactly what was said. He could not believe that it had been so long since i had menstruated. (At the time I had just taken prednisone for a 1 week reverse prednisone test, I think that was to see if I would respond to prednisone, because a month later they put me on 7.5mg a day.Whilst I was on it though nothing happened.)this is why i thought there were developing follicles. But now I dont know what is going on. I dont have a copy of my test results (i should relly ask for them) but i know i had low estrogen and progesterone, high testosterone and i think my androgens were high and other things so it was from this that they diagnosed PCOS, I also am overweight, have trouble losing weight..although since being on met i have lost 20lbs have excess hair, tired all the time and mood swings!! I sound very attractive dont i LOL!! Does this sound like PCOS. I was first diagnosed when I was 15 (im now 24) just from an ultrasound, no blood tests , because I had irregular painful periods, I was just a bit overweight. I had cysts then but not now. Can this happen or am I just weird? Thanks and look forward to your reply..i hope all this has made sense! Claire
