Metformin - only 500mg/day?

Hello-
I have been reading a lot of the posts and it seems that most of you are
on 500mg 3 times a day. I just found out this year that I have PCOS and
my doctor has me taking 500mg 1 time a day - is anyone else on such a
low dose?
I just had my second miscarriage this week and I am trying to double
check everything - looking for answers...
