PCOS, bcpills and yeast infections

Hi everyone,

i am a 23 yr. old PCOS patient. i've been diagnosed for about 5 years. two months ago, i started taking Ortho-Cept bc pills in addition to spiro and met. before this, i was naively taking ortho-tricyclin. i never had a problem with ortho-tricyclin, but i switched to ortho-cept because i wanted more control over my hormones/acne. it's worked! however, since starting the new bc pills, i've noticed that i can't get rid of a yeast infection. is it possible that ortho-cept is causing this?

i've been to my doctor a million times, had a million cultures done, etc. i don't have BV, trich, or any other bacterial infection, nor do i have an std. whenever my doctor does a culture, or even sends a culture to a lab, all that shows up is a yeast infection and i'm itchy down there.

my question is, do other PCOS patients have problems with yeast infections? do you find that some BC pills work better at controlling this problem than others? do people have yeast problems with Ortho-cept?

thanks!!
