Re: getting pregnant with PCOSFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 21 Sep 2001 21:29:21 EDT
I have been living the exact same thing. I'm 28, we did 2 IUI's (w/clomid) and then my doctors suggested IVF. They retrieved 20 eggs and I had 11 fertilize. We've done one fresh and one frozen cycle (both with 4 embryos each cycle). Neither took. We then tried doing an IUI again last July (insurance covers that at least) and I became pregnant. Unfortunaltely I was taken off glucophage and I had a missed miscarriage in my 7th week. We've been trying again since. It took almost 2 years before I got pregnant the first time. So I too wonder why I'm not conceiving when they tell me "everything looks perfect". I've had all the tests done, my tubes are open and fine, my uterine lining is fine. My level of frustration is indescribable. I wish I could give you answers. If you get any please pass them on. Good Luck. Chriss
