getting pregnant with PCOSFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 20 Sep 2001 15:46:47 -0500 (CDT)
I have been diagnosed with pcos (less than 8 periods per year, ultrasound & infertility). DH and I have had 1xIVF fresh, 1X IVF frozen and 1X IUI which were all -ve. I am 27, produced 12 eggs for IVF (10 fertilized), all embryos were dividing well for both fresh and frozen cycles. There seems to be no problems in any other area and yet I'm still not pg. We have spent so much money on these treatments and our clinic always tries to encourage us to try again, but surely there must be something else that is wrong if things haven't worked so far (I have had 5 apparently healthy embryos replaced so far). I seem to get period pains at least 7 days before AF is due every time we try. Can anyone suggest anything that might help before I go insane? I also had ovarian drilling in June and am due to have subsequent IVF in Oct / Nov. Help!!
