Hi podie,

The pain in your legs could be caused by low potassium. Because met works in the intestine, and you are successfully losing weight, you could be low on potassium. Try eating a few bananas a day, or add a potassium supplement. If the pain goes away, then you are sure of the problem. If not, I would suggest you tell the doc. Met can cause low iron too, so watch out for mild anemia.

There are no guarantees that you will have a period on met. One month is not a long time, and you didn't mention what dose you take. Give it a little more time.

Smile, atleast your losing weight.

luck and love, SusieQ
